Work with GridieCollaboration

Collaboration

In Gridie, you can share workspaces and folders to manage and work on workbooks together with teammates.

Getting Started with Your Team

Create a Workspace

Create a team workspace or use an existing one. A workspace is your team’s shared working environment.

Create a workspace

Invite Team Members

Send invitations to team members’ email addresses from workspace settings. They join the workspace when they accept.

Create and Share Folders

Create folders by project or team, and grant appropriate permissions to the team members who need each folder.

Set permissions

Work on Workbooks

Team members create workbooks inside shared folders and use the agent to carry out their work.

Things to Know When Collaborating

Simultaneous Editing Limitation

Gridie does not currently support simultaneous editing. If multiple people access the same workbook at the same time, only one person can edit at a time. Once the person who’s editing saves and exits, the next person can edit.

Real-time simultaneous editing is planned for a future update.

Workbook Deletion Permissions

The ability to delete workbooks in a shared folder is limited to members with full permissions.

Moving Between Workspaces

Workbooks can only be moved within the workspace they currently belong to. To move a workbook to a different workspace, download it and re-upload.

Using the Agent in Shared Workbooks

You can use the agent the same way in workbooks inside shared folders. Each team member’s agent chat is saved independently, so even in the same workbook, each member has their own separate chat history.

AI Notes are shared at the workbook level. Writing team-wide rules or workbook descriptions in the AI Note lets all team members use the agent with the same context. → Write AI Notes
